Key stage one (Children Aged 6 – 8years)This comprises of the first two years of the national curriculum. There are two classes per year group; grade 1 and 2. Children will work with their class teacher and teaching assistant of the full range of the national curriculum subjects using modern teaching resources material. In these years, they will develop into readers and be introduced to the project and child centered learning programme. An increasing emphasis is placed on ICT and skill acquisition classes i.e. Crafts, music and materials arts taught by special teachers.


Key Stage Two ( Children Aged 8 – 11years)

Under the daily guidance of their class and respective subject teachers, pupils will increasingly be involved in the planning of their learning. During years 3-5 pupils follow a broad and balanced curriculum. This includes all the subjects on the national curriculum together with French and Arabic. As children move up through the school they are increasingly encouraged to work independently. Homework will be set regularity according to the home work policy and recorded in the school daily.
