The nursery section is made up of 3 classes

• Toddler gold and silver
• Nursery 1
• Nursery 2

Ranging from age 2 ½ 5 years accordingly. The nursery setting is made in such away that learning styles are mostly play pretend, singing, repetition method and role play. Each child is giving the necessary attention needed to make him/ her feel safe and at home safety measures are taken to ensure that children do not get injured during playtime or within the school premises. A sound active curriculum is put up to ensure that children learn step by step. Each class has a class teacher and assistant guiding the pupils learning from beginning to end.

As the child goes through toddler class, he or she should be able to know the alphabets and their sound and build on their motor skills. They should be familiar with the English language at the beginner stage e.g. learning names of things their environment and how to interact with people and learning he proper discipline to make them good boys and girls.

They should be able to count form 0-30 and identify the numbers shapes, primary colors and simple addition. Rhymes, story telling and role play are incorporate into their curriculum to help them learn easily and have fun while learning.

The nursery one curriculum ensures that children a can start blending letters and sound to make 2-3 letter words. They learn to write simple sentences and should be able to write and count letters and numbers 0-100, number names identify 2 and 3 dimensional shapes and color blending. Simple addition & subtraction knowledge & understanding of the world lesson are learned through stoke telling and role play.

The nursery 2 curriculum is made in such as way that is prepares the students for transition from the nursery to the primary. They learn to count in hundreds and go deeper into addition, subtraction and multiplication. They incorporate spelling, more blending of sound and practice to perfect their reading and writing y the end of the session. They should be able to read simple stories, take dictation and learn more about their environment and the world in knowledge and understanding of the world.
